Doldrums

Despair needs a new pair of shoes


And a warm bed.
A meal that wasn't discarded by someone else.
A hug versus a mere handout.
Acknowledgement.

Don't just give change. Make change

Take the damn picture, Dad!


When a photographer talks about the difficult subjects they've had to shoot in their career, if they fail to mention their own children (assuming they have some), they are lying chicken-shit cowards.

Another day, another brain cell discarded (not that it was being used all that much)

Took a break from weeding the garden. This is the result.

There's a lot to be said for changing your point of view.
